Pilates Mat 

Hosted in The Yoga Shed

Mondays 6:00-7:00pm with Robert

Saturdays 9:30-10:30am with Willow
 

Referred to as the "art of controlled movement", Pilates puts emphasis on alignment, breathing techniques to strengthen and engage the core, all while developing balance between full-body mobility and strength. This class consists of gentle, accessible movement to promote functional strength and stability. 

Please Come Prepared With:

  • Yoga Mat

  • Towel/blanket for extra joint support

  • Water

  • Layers to stay comfortable

Power Vinyasa 
Hosted in The Yoga Shed
Tuesdays 5:30-6:45pm with DeShauna
Fridays 12:00-1:00pm with Rachel

Power Vinyasa is sometimes referred to as "gym yoga" in an attempt to make yoga more appealing to westerners and gym goers. Power Vinyasa is a full-body experience that will not only develop your athleticism, but also provide the mental benefits of a breath-based practice. These classes encourage you to explore your limits and challenge your practice through longer holds, as well as dynamic flows that build strength and increase endurance. Pace of class varies by instructor.

Yin Yoga with Alora 
Hosted in The Yoga Shed
Tuesdays 7:30-8:30pm

We’re big movers- we appreciate a strong, flowy yoga class, but understand the importance of creating balance and settling into stillness. Yin Yoga is a perfect complement to the dynamic and muscular (yang) styles of yoga that emphasize internal heat, and the lengthening and contracting of our muscles. Yin Yoga generally targets the connective tissues of the hips, pelvis, and lower spine. The poses are held longer to help restore and relax the body. Yin yoga calms the nervous system and reduces cortisol levels, also known as stress hormones.

Steps for Current Dues-Paying Members to Access Online Video Archive

  • Select the red "sign in" button at the top of the Streaming Virtual Videos page. You'll be directed to create a username and password. Once submitted, you'll be granted access to the video archive within 24 hours. If you submit on the weekend, please give us 48 hours to process your request- we're a tiny team :)

  • Streaming memberships grant access to virtual streaming content only. This membership grants no access to the gym or any of our in-person offerings such as our BRG Outdoors program. Access to the gym and in-person classes can be purchased with a day pass, punch pass, or gym membership offering.
