Let's hop across the Bridge to Ring Mountain and climb at Turtle Rock!
Whether you're a seasoned pebble crusher or a first-time sender, Turtle Rock has something for everyone. As an added bonus, it's situated in wide-open fields making for easy distancing.
Please come prepared with:
Mask + Hand Sanitizer
Climbing Shoes + Chalk
Crashpad if you have one
Water + Snacks
Park in the Cul-de-Sac at 208 Taylor Rd, Tiburon, CA 94920, or in the neighborhood. We'll meetup at the gate (look for crashpads) then take a 10-minute hike up the hill to Turtle Rock.
We'll have a guide book, and a few of our own pads. We'll run a short 15-minute orientation for new boulderers covering crashpad placement, falling, and topping out. This is a Leave No Trace event: please be prepared to pack out all of your trash.
Please stay home if you're feeling under the weather, or if you've been sick in the past two weeks. We'll be maintaining social distance and wearing our masks and we expect the same from you.
We are capping this event at 10 people in order to limit our impact on the crag, the size of our social bubble, and to respect Marin County's current guidelines on outdoor activities.
Registration is required, and we do need a current waiver on file for you. This event is free for current members and there's a sliding-scale suggested donation of $5-25 for Non-Members with no one turned way for lack of funds.
